Gucci Eye Magnetic Color Shadow Mono Oro, Iconic Ottanio, Ultra Violet, Iconic Bronze

What are you thinking when you buy too many eyeshadows of a particular brand? I have been just telling myself that I was hypnotized by that embossing.. If you notice, I bought so many Gucci beauty. For eyeshadows, I have reviewed 4 duos, this time about 4 monos and I still have an unreviewed quad. Lol..

Those four monos are Oro, Iconic Ottanio, Ultra Violet, and Iconic Bronze.

The case design is just like other Gucci Beauty. Black with Golden Logo Embossing and also Golden Belt. They comes inside a paper box which is also an iconic Gucci beauty packaging box. Only this time, Gucci Mono Eyeshadow feel so light and no velvet pouch to protect the case. I was hoping that it could be heavier and I was a bit dissapointed about it.

Oro is a light gold that tends to yellow with a fine shimmers.

Iconic Ottanio is a teal color and one of iconic color from Gucci. It is more to satin finish and not too shimmery. When choosing which color to buy, Iconic Ottanio was the first one catching my eyes.

Ultra Violet is satiny violet, has bit of shimmer but not too visible. Like Iconic Ottanio, this one is more to satiny finish.

Iconic Bronze is a bronze with a shimmery finish. The shimmer is the most visible of the four colors. When I first received the mail, Iconic Bronze is the only one with non perfect condition. I was afraid if the formula is a missed, but look at the swatch below!

All four of them are quite pigmented and the texture is not dry at all. They are all buildable, but Ultra Violet is the least blendable among four shades. I don't say that Ultra Violet has bad quality, but the other are good enough and could be compared with my favorite eyeshadow duo, 040 Sunset (reviewed here) .. Maybe even better.

Eventhough the texture is not so buttery, but during application I found no fall out or other difficulties in creating my eye make up. Oro is last for 8.5 hours on me while the other last up to 10 hours before fading.

Below is a blurry picture to show you the shimmer.

My Right Eye: Oro (lightly dab on inner lid), Iconic Bronze (middle to outer lid), Ultra Violet (outer), Iconic Ottanio (under eye). My Left Eye: Oro (inner lid), Iconic Bronze (), Iconic Ottanio (outer), Ultra Violet (under eye)

Clearly that mono shadows are better that the duo. (I don't know about the quad, I haven't used it yet). If you are not on budget, you could consider them, especially Iconic Ottanio and Iconic Bronze, you will not regret.

Gucci Luxe Finishing Powder

Ah, this one is another Gucci Beauty.. It is about Luxe Finishing Powder. It is supposed to be a handy sized to slip into handbag, creates flawless finish on the go, satin like texture, absorb excess oil, and control shine.

Packaging is so nice, the one that you want to take out from your bag in public. The case is in black color with gold belt and double-G logo on top. The size is not that small until you can't feel bringing it, but still manageable to carry around inside your bag.

It comes with velvety pouch with iconic Gucci pattern to protect the case from dirt and scratch.

Inside got a double compartments. On top we find the powder and below the tray we finds the brush. I'm thankful that there is place to put the brush inside.

The brush itself in the form like fan brush is quite soft and did the job well..

Look how pretty the embossing on the powder. Actually I don't really like this kind of embossing on Gucci bag since it is too crowded. But somehow this embossing looks so good on pan. I need months to set my heart ready to dip my brush. Lol.

The powder weights 11.5g and mine in shade Medium 030. I have fair to medium skin. I usually use no 20 in foundation but prefer no 30 in powder since it looks more natural on me.

This powder is not a super pigmented or high coverage one. We need to apply foundation (and concealer) to create a flawless look.

Texture is smooth and mild, it blended well with my skin. Very good in mattifying and oil control. It blurs my inperfection and not make my pores more visible. It is not cakey but sadly not buildable.

For oil control it works up to 6 hours before my Tzone appear little bit oily. But on the rest of my face area, this powder works well for 8-9 hours.

The powder is so soft that it is picked up so easily using the brush provided. There will be so much product picked in one stroke, so make sure be lighthanded.

Gucci Silk Priming Serum

This primer from Gucci Beauty seems like not too popular.. But that time I need a moisturizing primer since I hate to use many layer at day time. The price is quite high but I decided to try.

If you ask me about packaging, Gucci give me a feel of luxurious on this bottle. It is heavy, black with gold letters. The embossing is all over the cap. The box is a typical Gucci beauty, I discuss about this so many times, so I won't talk anymore about this.

The pump is in golden colour and dispense a perfect amount of product. I usually use 1 or 2 pump each time.

The texture is like a thick serum or may I say a super light cream. It blends smoothly to my skin, moisturizing and quick absorbs.

It creates a smoother skin looks but not too extreme difference. It doesn't work like instant magic. You still can see the difference but it won't show up in the picture and not too visible too. It doesn't support make up longevity too.

It is quite moisturize so in my normal days I don't need to use moisturizing cream. It feels so comfortable on my skin and my skin feels softer. If you see the picture below, it gives you the touch of soft healthy glow too.

You will not get something like photoshoped face but you can feel "your skin but better" skin.. I'm confused between to put it under skincare or make up because it seems like the one in between. You decide.. 😊

Gucci Eye Magnetic Color Shadow Duo #060 Fume, #070 Peacock, #080 Malachite Review and Swatch

Another Gucci Attack!!  Lol..

I want to review all my Gucci beauty collection on my stash, so please bear with me if I'm posting lot of Gucci lately.

I have reviewed another shadow duo in #040 Sunset here, so I will not write about their packaging and accessories anymore since they are all the same. I will focusing on the products and the swatches. If you want to know about the detail of packaging and accessories, please read in Sunset post (and, don't miss the swatch. It's worth to take a look, I promise!)

Not like Sunset, it's really hard to capture the real color of these three duos. My pictures didn't do justice of their beauty. I spent around 30mins taking pictures for each duo.

All of them are shimmery though not in the same intensity. Some are less shimmery than another. The particle is so soft that my phone could not capture the shimmer when camera is focus, that's why I include the blurry pictures just to show you the sparkle. Lol..

The shimmer shown in a certain angle and light. They are all wearable in daily life since the shimmer is not too sparkly. As you know some eyeshadows just not right to wear everyday because of that "disco time look" when worn. I promise these three are not like that. You could wear it comfortably even in the morning.

#060 FUME

It is the only neutral duo that I pick. Fume is a khaki-brown pairing and honestly I bought this because of the khaki color.

That khaki is a bit greenie, goldie and brownie. It has quite lot of shimmer in gold and silver (?) and it is really pretty in real. I didn't expect this to be that good. Quite buttery and easy to blend.

The brown is less shimmery than the khaki and if you look closer you can see a bit of burgundy and purple tone there. (See the sparkle!). Not as buttery as the khaki and not as easy to blend. Pigment is okay though. Guess will perform amazingly on primer.

#070 PEACOCK

It is a navy blue-bright purple duo. Experimental colors but doing okay even in the afternoon if you pair it with a nice neutral colors.

Honestly this is the least liked duo from 4 duos I own. It has least pigmentation (though it is still okay), but it is hard to blend without primer and texture is bit dry.

Navy blue has sheer color payoff when applied (looking at the color on the pan, I expected more pigmented color, and with that price?? $49). Got lot of blue and silver shimmer. It is okay but I have seen many better product than this.

Bright purple quality is better than the navy. The pigmentation and texture is definitely better than its pair. Less shimmery and easier to blend.

#080 MALACHITE

Malachite is my second favorite after Sunset. It is a green-deep navy duo and both are perform nicely. It is less shimmery than the previous two.

Green is so buttery that I only did one swipe in the swatch. It has very fine gold shimmer in it and it makes the perfect grassy green for me. I don't know why, but I love wearing green eyeshadow which some people avoid.

Deep navy quality is not as nice as its pair, but it is still a good one. I recognize that in all four duos, the left pan always has more shimmer than the right pan. Compared to the navy blue in Peacock, this deep navy is more greyish and less shimmery.

Now that I have finished reviewing all my Gucci Eyeshadow Duo, I will try to present you review and swatch of some mono eyeshadows and one more lipstick soon. Stay tuned!! Thank you for reading..

Gucci Sheer Blushing Powder - 020 Coral Flower

It is the first Gucci Beauty review I've been writting. Gucci beauty was first launched on Fall 2014 and has 7 shades selection for blushes. I have this piece for quite a long time and it is one of my untouched for months.

Honestly, I bought it because of the emboss and the hope for a luxury beauty product. Since it was a new launched, there were no review or swatch or even real picture at that time. It's kind of gambling, with that price tag (USD49), I decided to take a risk

PACKAGING

The black paper box with signature Gucci emboss adding a luxury feel to the product. There is a Gucci pouch to prevent case damaging, which I think is important for a high end and luxury make up products.

It comes in square black compact with a stripe of gold and a signature Gucci logo. Actually all products have that distinctive double G (Guccisima) logo on the case.
I think the case is made of plastic and unfortunately not as heavy as I hope it would be. For some people the size and weight will be perfect for travelling or at least brought to your office. But I am not a traveller and I work at home, so I was hoping to receive a heavier package. Look at that price?!

Other thing that I love is the magnetic closure. It represents a chic and modern make up packaging. Some classic brand would be perfect to maintain click-closure-kind-of-thing. But it is good that Gucci come with a modern style of make up.

ACCESORIES

A blush applicators are included inside. I don't really like using the original applicator and only using it for retouching (if I'm away from home). But surprisingly, the brush could pick a lot of powder with only one swipe.

THE PRODUCT

Do not ever trust a color shown in any cosmetic website. The real one will be far far away from the catalog. In real, we got a very soft color of blush.

According to Gucci website, it is supposed to be in sheer texture, buildable, and blendable. I found it is buildable and easily blendable. But it is not sheer at all, it is very pigmented. I'm quite surprise because the colour showed on the pan is a light pink-coral which usually not really pigmented when applied.

It gives radiant shine to my cheeks just like what Gucci claim. The color will show up beautifully on fair/light skin and won't be suitable for dark skin and medium-dark skin tone.
