Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation

Who doesn't know that Chanel Foundation is highly raved by many women? Honestly, my most favorites Chanel Beauty products are face basic products like foundation or powder. I love Chanel Beauty Decorative product, but they just don't make me addicted.

The packaging is small and travel friendly because it is made from plastic. There is no pump in the bottle, it is kind of 'upside down and squeeze'. Eventhough the bottle is small and fits in my hand, it contains regular amount of products, 30ml.

This foundation is water-light and creates natural complexion. It does not cover my imperfection perfectly, but it does enhance natural beauty. It brightens, evens my skintone, and makes it glowing the whole day. It covers my acne scar, acne, redness, darkspot, and pores lightly.

It is not drying my skin or causing break out. Even when it is near the end right now, I still enjoy it like the first time. The fragrance is nice and calming and it is comfortable throughout the day. It does not oxidize and also quite longlasting, 7 hours and still looks nice.

I don't know with other type of skin. Mine is combination to oily and this foundation is perfect for me.

Chanel Joues Contraste Rose Glacier

Rose Glacier is my first Joues Contraste. Since I did not have anything from the Joues Contraste family, I was decided to bring the safe color home, the color that foolproof to my liking. (My second pick is Alezane which is more unique in color)

Not saying much about the packaging anymore. I guess you all know already about it. A simple black case with the white logo in the middle. Incudes pouch and got mirror inside. You'll find applicator that is really helpful when you are on travelling or for touch up. Open the case and that Rosy Violet smell will hint your nose. The smell of Chanel products somehow comforts me.

The color is a pretty rosy color with golden shimmer. The color and the shimmer creates a wonderful effect on your skin. The shimmer is fine enough, so it will not turn too shiny or bling bling.

The texture is not too buttery but definitely not dry. I think this has good formula for powder blushes. This blush is pigmented but not overpowering. So basically you can build it up in strokes and reach whatever you desire of with it. It also blend well and long lasting, about 6-7 hours without fix spray.

Sorry for the picture. This was taken before I finish my make up so you have to see my dry lips there.. But well, hope you like this post and get the idea of how this blush looks like on my light to medium skin. Thank you for reading.

Chanel Vitalumiere Loose Powder Foundation

It's good to see you again reader.. I have abandoned this blog again for don't know how many times. I took some pictures of Chanel Vitalumiere Loose Powder Foundation few months ago but have no time to write a review. I'm so sorry, but I will try my best to catch up soon. I have lots of products to show you. I promise you to write more regularly.

Yesterday I was digging out old pictures in my phone and I realize I haven't posted about this. So this morning I took few more pictures and here I am typing this review from my phone. Luckily this baby is a permanent item, so there is no word 'late' to review it.

Inside the black box you will get the powder with the kabuki brush included. I have the one in shade no 20.

It is containing 10gr of product.. Compared to the Universelle Libre which is 30gr, this Vitalumiere have definitely smaller size in packaging.

It is not a cheap product for sure. I bought this around IDR 950.000,- that time. I usually bought foundation around IDR 500.000-800.000, so this is the most expensive foundation I own if I'm counting the brush as free.

Okay let's start with the brush first.. I always love white brush.. Lol.. And this kabuki for me is a lot better than the one from Dior Nude series. A way softer and the application is easier. It is feel heavier too, so I guess it feels more luxurious than Dior one.

Sorry I forget to take picture of the seal, I throw it away few months ago. So basically the new product will have a black plastic seal inside to keep the powder from going here and there as long as you haven't taken off the seal and maintain the quality of the product before anybody use them. The picture above is today's picture, after few months it will look like this. Lol..

After you open the seal, you will meet the net. It is an elastic one, not a stiff net that we usually found. You can press the net to pick up the powder using the brush. Here I just want to show you how elastic it is. It also prevents the overpicking.

Shade no 20 will look like this on my skin. Seems dark on the pan, but when you apply it is actually a bright one. I usually use shade 20 for Chanel liquid foundation and 30 for Chanel powder. This one my friend pick for me and I forget to tell her to pick up no 30. Don't worry, Chanel products usually have natural finish so no 20 and 30 is not a big deal for me. If you concern about that, make sure you try in counter first.

As usual, this products has Chanel signature scent and I love it. I cannot compare with any Chanel compact foundation because I don't have any. I usually don't use powder foundation and choose liquid foundation instead.

If you look on face swatch below, this powder does not cover my darkspots or acne scar totally. It has light to medium coverage and lighter than any Chanel liquid foundation that I have. But it does brighten my skin. From what I experience, it emphasize my pores.. Anybody have the same experience with me?

The staying power is okay regarding my combination skin. It last up to 5 hours on humid days. It is not cakey and good for daily use.

The conclusion is: This product is not for me though many friends rave about this. I just never have a good luck with powder foundation..

Left is bare face, Right is with Vitalumiere Loose Powder Foundation.

Tell me what about your opinion on this product..
Thank you for reading.. See you on next post.

Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Colour Stick Blush no.22 Review and Swatch

Woohooo!! Chanel is launching good things this summer 2015, but my only pick is this Les Beiges Blush Stick no 22 (my wallet just didn't let me get the others after some shopping madness lately.. Lol)..

You need to check out Les Beiges Multicolor if you missed 2014 edition, maybe the long-awaited Lumiere D'ete and RCS 507 Insoumise. I have both 2014 Multicolor, many bronzers and enough (really?) lipsticks so I decided not to get them this time.

Les Beiges Blush Stick is basically a cream blush but in a stick form. So far, Chanel launched 3 color selection, No 20 (bronze), no 21 (pink) and no 22 (peachy-coral).

Not like a compact cream blush, this comes in a sleek and retractable stick case with the signature CC monogram. It is not too heavy and quite travel friendly.

I hate to bring pressed powder including blusher while traveling because I'm a bit sceptical to bring something fragile on travel. I tendly pick things that are strong enough even when your luggage fall from 200 feet above the ground.. Lol. Just kidding..

But really, I will choose something like YSL Kiss and Blush over Chanel Joues Contraste or Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream over their Artist Eyeshadow or Benefit Watts Up over The Balm Mary Lou. Just simply avoid the worst nightmare ever, cracking powder!

When you get the picture, you will understand now that Chanel Les Beiges Stick is in the front line when I'm traveling.

But is this a good buy regarding the quality of the product? Oh yes it is!!

I think each Les Beiges deserve the attention. As I'm loving the Les Beiges Cream, Les Beiges Powder, and Les Beiges Multicolor, this baby too is my new found love.

This blush stick is meant for enhancing, brightening and contouring. It basically gives you natural glowing and blushing cheek.

The colour is definitely wearable by most people with fair to medium skintone. It looks so bold in the pan, but actually it is so soft when applied yet still pigmented.

In the swatch below, the hard swatch is only one swipe directly from the stick. Isn't the colour gorgeous? The coral color on the pan becomes a peachy coral which suitable for daily make up. Look how natural it looks after blended!

Many people said that it is similar with Chanel Cream Blush. But since I don't have any cream blush, I could not make comparison.

The texture is creamy but not oily. Once set it won't go runny. It is easy to blend and it really blends perfectly to your skin.

But it dries quite quickly, so you better finish application fast in one cheek before moving to another cheek. And for me the best way to apply is with fingertips. So swipe directly from the stick and blend with fingertips, I'm using my middlefinger.

The scent is just typical Les Beiges scent. Some people don't like, but I always love it, somehow it calms me down.

Now I'm curious about the pink (which will be perfect for fair skin) and bronze (which will be perfect for contouring). (OH NOOOOO). LOL.. I hope they will be permanent collection of Chanel. Fingercrossed! The only reason to stepback is the price $45
