Origins Ginzing Energy-Boosting Gel Moisturizer

Hello hello hello.. How are you? How's your 2019 so far? Mine is great. And good news, I'm trying to be back on beauty blogging again this year. Yay!

First review in 2019 is a skincare product. I've been using this Origins Ginzing Energy-Boosting Gel Moisturizer since end of December last year almost on daily basis. I think it's time to share with you guys.

According to Origins, this moisturizer is lightweight and oil-free. It will instantly hydrates & revs up radiance for refreshed, healthy & vibrant skin. Key note is Coffee and Panax Ginseng. And you must be happy that it is formulated without parabens, phthalates, sodium lauryl sulfate, propylene glycol, mineral oil, DEA, petrolatum, paraffin, polyethylene beads, formaldehyde & animal ingredients except for cruelty-free honey & beeswax.

Full size is in 50ml jar, but I got 30ml one from a set. As you can see from the picture below, a little jar goes a long way. It can be used AM and PM, but I only use this in my AM routine after toner and/or serum. One month plus of usage once daily and still got plenty of gel left for 2 or 3 months ahead.

Like other water based product, it is so lightweight like the claim, easily absorbed and leave no greasy feeling on skin eventhough there is just a little bit of silicony feeling afterwards. It also has cooling and soothing effect which I love. My skin is so plump, fresh and moist for the whole day. I do not get any trouble while using this product. No breakouts, no itchy, no patches. My make up sits well on top of it too.

It smells like a mix of orange, lemon and grapefruit. So fresh that it is perfect for summer or hot days. My skin is combination slightly dry to oily and it works well. Now to mention that I live in tropical country with high humidity. Therefore I recommend to search for another option if you have dry skin or looking for a winter moisturizer because I think this will not be enough unless you keep reapplying every few hours.

As much as I know, this gel moisturizer does not contain any SPF, so I always use sunscreen after using it. It does make sense looking at the usage can be for AM and PM.

Just for additional information, I have tried Ginzing Peel Off Mask and I don't like it. But this Ginzing Gel Moisturizer, it is a game changer. I love it so much that I will surely purchase the full size soon.

Hope this help.. See you on another review!

Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Eyeliner Black Ink and Denim Ink

Oldie but goldie.. Yes Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner is one of my favorite eyeliner of all time. I use it for few years and I still love it till today. Who doesn't know this baby who won many award since its first appearance? Then you missed out something good.

It is a pot eyeliner so basically you need to use brush for application. From the color range, I choose the classic Black Ink and the gorgeous Denim Ink. While the best seller Black Ink is matte and suitable for all occasion, Denim Ink creates more glamourous look for night time and party since it contains glitter.

The texture is creamy and I love its easy application. For those who have normal to dry eyelids, it is quite longstaying eventhough not 100% smudgeproof and waterproof. But for those who have oily lids better to apply primer beforehand. It last for 6-7 hours indoor and 4-5 hours outdoor. I definitely need waterproof eye make up remover to remove it completely in the end of the day.

For any pot cream product, better to use it in 1-2 years or the texture will become harder and application will be more difficult. Below is my picture using Denim Ink (that is already 3 years old!)

Marc Jacobs Lovemarc Lip Gel Understudy, Roll The Dice, Surrender Dorothy, and Saboteur

Hello again! This post is about another lippie galore.. Yes you're right! It's Marc Jacobs Lovemarc Lip Gel. They are permanent but I suggest you to get The Sophia (limited edition Lovemarc minies) because it's so worth it!

I got 4 shades and in love with them all. I'm quite happy with my picks since all four of them have very different colour. I have no regret for buying them.

I love the design. The classy black colour, the magnet closure, the shape of the tube, and also the tip of the lipstick. They are kind of cute! (see Roll the Dice and Saboteur for reference since the other two are not brand new when the pics were taken).

Understudy was soon become my go-to lipstick when I first tried it. I love it then and I'm still loving it now. For me this is the perfect nude, not making me pale while still looks very natural.

Roll the dice is a bright pink and the colour is so pop up! From four shades this is the less liked because I think the color not really suit me well. But trust me this one is still so pretty though.

Surrender Dorothy is so bold on pan but is not that scary when applied. The color turn out to be a bright orange which is quite beautiful.

Saboteur is rock! I mean it! The color is so cool. It is a dark red which has the most classy look when applied. I never know that this kind of color could be so gorgeous. It is dark but not gothic. I love it! My husband even says that he liked it the most out of four shades.

The texture is different from my other lipstick because it is a lip gel. It glides smoothly on my lips and very comfortable. It is quite pigmented, mostly one swipe is enough, but it is buildable. All pictures here are only one swipe.

This is one of my favorite lipstick formula. It is not drying while still provide a quite long lasting color. It last about 5.5 hours on me, except for Understudy only 4.5 hours. It does not create much stain in the end of the day, that's why it is safe for daily use.

I think for people who are looking for the comfortable lipstick, maybe Lovemarc is the answer. Will definitely add more to collection when there is big sale on Sephora again..
