Sephora Cream Lip Stain 03 Strawberry Kissed

Happy Chinese New Year! Hope this year brings you happiness, hope and lots of love.. Back when I was a child, I always love Chinese New Year Celebration. Having dinner with my extended family and also receiving red envelopes (read:money) always cheers me up for weeks. Lol.. What about now? I have different roles now. I'm the one who's giving away the envelopes now and of course taking part in ceremony preparation too. But, the joy of celebrating Chinese New Year never change 😊

Speaking of Chinese New Year, there are some rules according to the tradition. One of them is we must wear bright color, mostly red which represent festive and happiness. And then I remember one bright lip product that I have used most often this week. The Sephora Cream Lip Stain in Strawberry Kissed. 

The packaging is a super simple plastic tube that is quite slim and travel friendly. The applicator is slim but picks enough product for one application. It is truly an easy application. One swipe, wait less than a minute and I'm ready to go. It has vanilla scent that is not too strong but you will definitely notice that upon application. The scent is fading as it dries.

This shade is a reddish pink which is really bright and beautiful. The texture reminds me more to a lip cream than a lip stain. The color is quite pigmented so one layer is enough to cover my lips entirely. It dries pretty quickly to a matte finish and after that it doesn't transfer as long as you are not eating or drinking something oily.. 

It doesn't give me uncomfortable feeling that usually matte liquid lips do. It doesn't stretch or dry my lips even after hours after first application. I'm also glad to report that I don't need to touch up. 

Picture above is taken at 09.00, indoor, sunlight near a window. Picture below taken at 15.00, outdoor, sunlight, standing under a tree. Only applied once and no touch up.

That first application stays the whole day on me even after two meals and a snack. It does minor transfers on my glass but no huge change visible on the lips. When I get home and remove my make up at 17.00, it's still there with only minor fading on inside of the lips. For me it is still very very presentable.

Overall I'm impressed with this lippie and I would recommend you to try this. I think this shade will look so beautiful on everybody.

Sephora Mono Eyeshadow : 21, 99, 102, 103

Which one do you like better, a palette or a mono eyeshadow? Me loving a palette more than mono or duo. Yes, even if I don't use all shades in the palette, I still love them because of the value they provide. But, sometimes I pick mono when I don't have that particular shades in my collection.

Let's talk about this Sephora Mono Eyeshadows. Originally I did not buy these for myself, but then I changed my mind when I realize I still didn't have those shades. (I gave my friends lipsticks instead).

The packaging is a sturdy plastic in black color with transparent lid. Each contains of 0.07oz of product. 

I picked no 103 Star Crossed Lovers, 102 Supernova, 99 Planet Earth, 21 Space Odyssey (swatch from left to right). I dislike the quality of the eyeshadows. They are too powdery, too much fall out and not pigmented. I mean for the price I can find better quality from other product. Top is without primer, bottom is with primer.

As you can see, primer makes them a lot better. They are way more pigmented and less fall out. They are not super easy to blend but can work. With primer they are buildable, but without primer it is not possible because they won't stick to my skin.

Special note is for Space Odyssey, the color is showing when you use primer. If other shades just adding the pigmentation and opacity with primer, Space Odyssey also popping the gorgeous color. It is totally different shades from the pan too. 

They last for 3.5 hours without primer and 6-7 hours with primer depends on the shade.

The formula is not my favorite, but I'm loving Planet Earth and Supernova shade. I think I still can use them, of course with primer. What about other shades of Sephora mono? Have you guys tried some?

Sephora Hydrating Powder Blush Icy Fuchsia and Romantic Rose

If you want a compact and middle-end blush, Sephora is one of the wide options out there. With crazy color selection, just get from the rack anything that has caught your eyes. I have my own rule whenever I have to face so many choices until I get confused. For me, the first one catching my eyes is (almost) always the one I like the most. So now, I'm sharing you about 2 of them.

Sephora products rarely have paper/card box packaging. They usually wrapped up in plastic seal. (For bag palette and blockbuster there is box for each of them). It is more simple and space friendly, but in the other side looks less luxurious and easy to get scratched on shipping.

The case is lightweight, made from hard plastic in black color. The lid is transparent in the center so basically we could see the blush color directly without opening it, and it is just an ordinary click-clack type. Each contains 3.2g of products.

Both of them quite pigmented. No need to give much effort to make them visible. You only need a good brush because brush has effect in matter of blending process. The texture is not buttery but not very dry either, so a good basic is needed. 

Icy Fuchsia is a bright Fuchsia that turned out to a beautiful pink on my skin. It looks really shimmery on pan, but it is actually wearable. The shimmer will stay in place if you wear a good basic before. It last for 4 to 6 hours on humid weather.

Romantic Rose is a soft rose color that is more to peach than pink. No visible shimmer in this color and it is a lot softer than Icy Fuchsia. Sadly this will not show up well on medium to dark skin. It last for 3 to 5 hours in humid weather. This is more blendable and softer but less buildable and less longlasting than Icy Fuchsia.

Sephora Puckerlicious Set

Who doesn't love minis with affordable price..? You can try more items without emptied your wallet. Yes, Sephora knows it well.. They offer Limited Edition Set called Sephora Puckerlicious. One set contains of 2 Fullsize Lippies (NYX and Tarte) and 3 Mini Size Lippies, plus you have Sephora Pouch as bonus..

Usually in a set I find one or two items I don't like.. But in this case I'm in love with every one of them. They are all lovely and wearable..

Biasanya dalam satu set ada 1 atau 2 barang yang tidak saya suka. Namun kali ini saya jatuh cinta sama semuanya. Semua sangat cantik dan dapat digunakan sehari-hari)

So here is the review of Sephora Puckerlicious Set : (Jadi ini ulasannya)

1. NYX Butter Lipstick 0.16oz / 4.5gr in Taffy or Gumdrop (Full Size)

There are two options about the NYX Butter Lipstick Color. You can choose Taffy or Gumdrop. I'm sure if you are a Pinklover, you  don't want to miss this.. Both of them have really sweet pink color, Taffy darker than Gumdrop by a bit. (I get Taffy, the other one is my friend's!!)

Pigmentation quite good, but not really long lasting. I'm not huge fan of NYX, but I think Butter Lipstick series much better than Soft Matte Lip Cream. SMLC give a great matte finish, but it slowly drying my lips so I never wore it again eversince. In the other side Butter Lipstick feels so creamy and moist.

(Ada 2 pilihan warna NYX Butter Lipstick. Bisa pilih antara Taffy atau Gumdrop. Kalo kamu pencinta pink, ini tidak boleh dilewatkan. Dua-duanya punya warna pink yang manis, Taffy sedikit lebih gelap dari Gumdrop.

Pigmentation cukup baik namun kurang tahan lama. Saya bukan penggila NYX, tapi buat saya Butter Lipstick lebih baik daripada SMLC. Kalau SMLC hasil akhirnya matte keren, tapi lama kelamaan buat kering bibir, jadi saya tidak pernah pakai lagi.Sedangkan Butter Lipstick teksturnya creamy dan lembab.)

2. Tarte Lipsurgence Lip Gloss 8ml / 0.27 Fl.Oz in Blissful (Full Size)

This set is really worth it!! They even include full size Tarte complete with box!! What I love about this brand is they use organic ingredients and cruelty free..

At first I'm not really interested to try this gloss because of the colour, but when I put in my lips I just knew that this will be one of my favorite gloss. The colour is just nice and natural. You can wear it alone or on top of your lipstick. In the picture here, I was using it alone and I love it.

(Set ini benar tidak rugi. Bahkan sudah termasuk Tarte ukuran normal pakai box lagi. Saya suka produk mereka karena bahan-bahannya alami dan tidak melakukan kekerasan terhadap lingkungan - termasuk animal dan human.

Pertama sih kurang tertarik karena warnanya ga begitu suka. Tapi waktu sudah dicoba ternyata bagus banget sampe saya rasa ini bisa jadi salah satu gloss favorit saya. Warnanya bagus dan natural. Bisa pakai langsung atau tumpuk diatas lipstick kamu. Di foto, saya pake sendirian aja, tanpa lipstick dll)

3. Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick 5ml / 0.16 Fl.Oz in Fuchsia

No more talking about high raved Too Faced Melted. One of the most wanted item this year, often OOS at Sephora Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia (what about other countries?)

Luckily, I haven't bought Fuchsia so I'm happy they include this colour in this set.. Just look at how nice the colour is.. And I remember just 2 years ago, I never used bright colour on my lips, but you have no idea how I have been changed lately and how I love to wear brave colour on my days (I even wear Violet too!)

(Sudah tidak usah banyak dijelaskan lagi. Too Faced Melted salah satu produk yang paling banyak dicari tahun ini. Seringkali kehabisan stok di Sephora Indonesia, Singapore, dan Malaysia.

Beruntungnya, saya belum beli warna Fuchsia. Jadi senang sekali waktu tau dalam set ini ada warna ini. Lihat saja warnanya cantik. Saya teringat baru 2 tahun lalu saya tidak mungkin berani pakai warna mencolok begini. Tapi saya banyak berubah dan sekarang saya juga banyak pakai warna berani sehari-hari - bahkan saya pakai warna Violet juga)

4. Sephora Rouge Infusion 0.068 Fl.Oz in #10 Red Essence

I underestimate this item and I even thought to give it away. I'm glad I didn't.. The texture is great, the colour is eyepopping good, smell quite nice, and long lasting! Yes long lasting.. I have to wipe it using waterproof make up remover.. Suitable for night parties and of course for upcoming Halloween

(Saya terlalu merendahkan produk ini dan bahkan berpikir untuk memberikan ke saudara saya. Untunglah tidak jadi. Teksturnya bagus, warnanya bikin mata melotot - in a good way, aromanya cukup enak, dan tahan lama! Beneran tahan lama sampai saya harus hapusnya pakai penghapus make up waterproof. Cocok untuk dipakai malam dan tentu saja untuk Halloween yg akan datang)

5. Givenchy Le Rouge 1.5gr / .05 Oz in #202 Rose Dressing

First, it comes in a velvety super mini box..
Second, I think the colour is really wearable..
Third, absolutely collectible item..
Plus, the pigmentation and texture quite good, quite moisturizing, and makes me think to get the full size (maybe after I finish this cute little baby)

(Pertama, packagingnya velvet dan super mini.. Kedua, warnanya bisa dipakai kapan saja. Ketiga, bisa jadi koleksi. Tambah lagi pigmentation nya bagus, cukup lembab, dan bikin saya ingin beli ukuran normalnya - mungkin setelah yang ini habis ya)

Overall, this set is brilliant!! I don't have any regret spending each bucks on it.. Go get it now, it is Limited Edition!!

(Secara keseluruhan, set ini sangat okee.. Saya puas tidak membeli barang yang salah. Yang ingin beli buruan, edisi terbatas loh!!)
