Gucci Eye Magnetic Color Shadow Duo #040 Sunset Review and Swatch

This is my second review of Gucci Beauty. It is about their eyeshadow duo in #040 Sunset. I bought this eyeshadow together with the blush and lipstick which I have reviewed before. Pssst, I still have a lot to review.. 

This eyeshadow duo is one of their permanent collection which retailing at $49 each. They have another 6 selections beside Sunset.

PACKAGING

Almost all is exactly the same with the blush : black paper box, velvet pouch, oppulent magnetic compact in black with the gold stripes, the Guccisima logo and the material of the case is the same. Only this eyeshadow duo size is smaller than the blush.

ACCESORIES

Eyeshadow applicators are included in the package. One sponge applicator, one brush applicator. You can touch up using the applicator provided, but personally I'm loving my usual eyeshadow brushes more than the one provided because of the length of the handle. I don't like small applicators. Hail long handle! LOL

THE PRODUCT

The guccisima emboss is all over the surface, which I love the most. Sunset is a duo copper-plum kind of color. 

The left side is an orangey-copper which I think really gorgeous and will turn out really pretty in a warm skintone.

The right side is a plum/purple color and perfect for outer or outer-V. 

For people who love simple make up, this combination maybe perfect and enough to make you stand out. But I love to do more steps on my eyeshadow so I combine with one or two other colors such as pearly white, soft pink or light brown as base.

The quality is amazing. Both are very pigmented, no fall out and so buttery.

I did swatch with my finger and the colors are really pretty. Don't you think so?

Pond's Pimple Cover & Care Concealer Pen Review and Swatch

Hellooooww.. How are you readers? Is everything good there? I'm good and working hard as usual. But pretty much enjoying life..

Yesterday I went groceries shopping and stop by a Guardian store in front of the supermarket. My intention was to buy make up remover but I ended up buying few more. Not a surprise! LOL!

I rarely buy or use drugstore products, but lately I want to try them too.. So I ended up having extra shampoo, facial wash, concealer pen and lipbalm. Wait! Where's the make up remover?? Out of stock babe.. I didn't get what I need, but bought 4 items instead. Oh my!!

In this post, we will discuss about Pond's Pimple Cover & Care Concealer Pen. Since I don't really follow drugstore products update, I didn't know that Pond's even have a concealer and I'm surprised. I didn't seek any information or review before buying, it's a gambling game. The price is very reasonable. It is only IDR 28.500. I believe some stores sell it cheaper by thousand or two.

It is basically 2 in 1 product: concealer and acne care. While it provides you a better look by reducing appearance of acne scar, it also helps to take care of your pimples.

From www.ponds.co.id, I get the idea of the special ingredients called Salicylic Acid that helps to 'destroy the monster'. It can be combined with make up and best used before make up.

The packaging is slim and travel friendly. Case is made from hard plastic in white color and it is retractable.

I was worried by the shade. No tester, no picture at store. I couldn't find any other shade and also nothing written in the packaging. (Then I know from google that it is actually only available in one shade since it is a new product. New? Really?)

When I opened the cap, seems like the color won't work on me. Luckily it adjusts to my skin tone after blending. The texture is not as smooth as my other concealer, but what do you expect, it is only 2 dollar!

Coverage is light to medium. Didn't hide my pimples or the scar in the way I wanted. It reduces bit of redness and bit of pimple appearance, but you still can see it. I swatch it on my bare skin, I guess we need a good foundie to pair with this concealer pen.

I tried it on my dark circles. It is very sheer and didn't hide my dark circle completely. About the acne care, I think if you don't have any other acne care and should wear make up everyday and not confidence to show your bare skin, you should consider this two in one product. But for me, I prefer to use a standalone acne care and no make up when the monster attack!! Cheers!

100 Empties Project (Update 7)

Helloooww, long time no update. Sorry I've been busy these past weeks. Actually I did swatch and took few pictures of some products I want to review but still got no time to write.. Sigh.. I'll try my best to catch up.

Then here is no 81-90 of my empties. It's almost there, 10items left and  I'm sure will finish before end of June.

81. Mane n Tail Deep Moisturizing Shampoo
- Eventhough the name is Deep Moisturizing, it left my hair dry. I prefer original to this. And don't forget to use conditioner or hair mask after that.

82. L'oreal Lip and Eye Make Up Remover
- Affordable and good result. Will repurchase after finishing my backups.

83. Skinfood Grapeseed Oil Body Emulsion
- It is not for me. Most of the time I feel stingy sensation and sometimes my skin got itchy. So I used it on my legs. I don't know what's wrong with my skin. I can use it on my legs but not on my hands. And I am annoyed by the texture. It is too runny.

84. BBW Wild Berry Tulips Travel Shower
- Just another BBW Shower. This is the last 2 bottles I have. The last bottle is Sweet Pea.

85. BBW Mini Candle Fresh Bamboo
- You can see it is not entirely gone. Still got some candle inside, but I just couldn't lit it anymore. The flame was gone in 3 seconds. Consider it done!

86. Oriflame Pure Nature Soothing Face Cream
- I don't use Oriflame product for so long now since their skincare not working for my 20s skin (it used to worked really well when I was 16-19 years old). So I was using the leftover as overnight hand cream. It moisturizes quite well. Don't throw away any face products that is not suitable for your skin, look for another way to make it works!

87. Glamglow Supermud Mask
- I love it and will repurchase. Okay, I mean after 5 more masks to go.. LOL..

Biore Anti Pollution Glowing Bright UV Body Lotion

Halo sahabat, bagaimana kabar kamu hari ini? Udah mau akhir pekan pastinya happy dong? Untuk bacaan akhir pekan, saya membuat review tentang Biore Body Lotion yang baru aja launching belum lama ini. Karena ini tentang produk yang mudah ditemui di pasar kita, maka saya akan membahasnya dalam Bahasa Indonesia ya..

Bercerita sedikit tentang kebiasaan saya memakai body lotion, saya cukup membenci body lotion bertabir surya. Sudah jelas kan alasannya, LENGKET! Euhh! Jadi itulah kenapa saya lebih suka body lotion impor seperti Victoria's Secret, Bath and Body Works dan Sephora untuk sehari-hari.

Bukan berarti saya gak peduli sama sinar matahari yang bikin gosong kulit kita dan bikin kita rawan kena kanker kulit itu, tapi beruntungnya saya memang lebih banyak berada di dalam ruangan daripada harus panas-panasan di luar (banyak alasan ya. Haha). Kalo pas lagi kegiatan luar rumah, terutama berenang, body lotion yang ada SPF nya sudah pasti adalah suatu keharusan.

Saya pun jarang banget nonton TV siaran lokal kecuali nonton berita ya.. Saya lebih banyak nonton acara di TV kabel (banyakan tentang makanan sih kaya Food Network, TLC, Asian Food Channel). Jelas saya gak pernah tau iklan produk lokal dan gak tau kalo Biore punya lotion baru. Hahahah.. Paraahhh..

Nah ceritanya pas kemaren saya belanja bulanan untuk keperluan rumah tangga di Hypermart, saya iseng-iseng lah liatin macam-macam produk sabun mandi, pembersih make up, pasta gigi dll. Ga ada niat beli deh, suweeerrr!! Saya memang lagi beauty spending ban, jadi gak boleh beli kosmetik ataupun barang kecantikan yang sebenarnya di rumah masih ada.

Sambil tungguin suami yang belom datang jemput, saya liatin lah tuh barang sekian banyak satu per satu. Hahaha.. Si biore ini sama swalayannya ditaruh rak bawah sendiri dan jumlahnya gak banyak. Tapi entah kenapa malah saya liatnya kesitu. Ada warna pink sama biru.

Saya gugling nih barusan tadi, sebenarnya malah ada 3 varian : Extra Rich Nourish (Ungu), Glowing Bright UV (Pink), sama Smoothie Moisture (Biru) dan baru launching Maret 2015 lalu.

Bahas sedikit ya tentang perbedaan nya 3 varian ini. Ketiganya sih sama-sama mengusung tema anti pollution. Jadi mereka membantu melindungi kita dari polusi sehari2 bahkan mencegah debu nempel dan lagi gak lengket di kulit.

*** Yang ungu sih mengandung evening primrose oil yang fungsinya buat meregenerasi kulit dan menjaga kekenyalan. Cocok nih buat kulit lelah, yang udah ada umur dan kusam.

*** Yang biru pakai rice milk dan yoghurt extract. Lebih cocok untuk kulit yang kering karena dia fungsinya melembabkan. Cocok juga untuk orang yang bekerjanya di dalam ruang dan sering kena AC.

*** Yang pink ada UV Filter, Vitamin C dan E. Bikin kulit keliatan lebih cerah alias kinclong!!

Kebiasaan dari dulu kalo body lotion kan mau cium dulu baunya. Biar baunya agak keluar kan agak dipencet sedikit aja ya, alamak  KETERUSAN!!! Keluar sedikit tuh lotionnya (masih untung gak kena hidung kaya biasanya. Hahaha)

Mumpung ga ada mbaknya, si lotion yg keluar dari botol tadi cepetan saya lap trus saya ratain ke lengan daaaaaaannnnn jatuh cinta. Iya lupa deh lagi spending ban. Akhirnya masuklah ke keranjang si botol pinknya. Hahaha...

Jadi kenapa nih jatuh cinta (setelah dicoba seharian ini hasilnya):
1. Gak lengket sama sekali dan otomatis kotoran gak cepat nempel
2. Cepat meresap (ga pake acara tungguin lengket tambah gerah)
3. Baunya lembut jd gak tabrakan sama parfum
4. Gak licin pas cuci tangan
5. Ada UV filternya. Walaupun gak tau secara jangka panjang dampaknya gimana, tapi jelas lah pasti lebih baik daripada yang gak pake UV
6. Ga perlu tunggu 1 minggu 1 bulan 1 tahun dapetin kulit lebih cerah. Hasilnya langsung keliatan loh. Dibawah ada foto before-afternya
7. Harganya terjangkau. Untuk ukuran 200ml sekitar 28ribuan rupiah, tp kemaren ada diskon jadi tinggal 21ribuan rupiah.
8. Teksturnya pas. Ga terlalu kental jadi mudah rata, juga gak terlalu cair jadi gak takut belepotan.

Minusnya buat saya adalah:
1. Ga tau itu SPF berapa. Kalo perkiraan sih SPF nya ga terlalu tinggi jadi ga cocok kalo buat outdoor sport. Mungkin ga masalah kalo rajin ulang pakainya. Tapi dasar saya pemalas jadi malas suruh ulang-ulang. Kalau buat sehari-hari sih ga masalah SPF rendah karena kerja dalam ruangan.
2. Kurang lembab. Untuk yang kulitnya kering atau super kering mungkin ambilnya yg warna biru kali ya. Untuk malam hari saya masih pilih untuk pakai body butter.

Rouge Dior Brillant 999 : Review and Swatch

Hello lovely readers, welcome to my first post in May. I hope this month will be a great adventure to us. This post is about Rouge Dior Brillant 999.

With the tag "Lipstick and Care, Couture Colour", Dior launched 14 new shades of Lip Balm Gloss called Rouge Dior Brillant. It supposed to create elegant shine, intense color, and perfectly defined lips. From 14 beautiful shades, I picked the iconic color 999. The bright red with slight touch of orange in it. Isn't she beautiful? Wait until you read my review till the end.

The pen-like applicator is so helpful in picking enough amount of the liquid. And this suitable amount will create a pigmented color in just one swipe. The applicator is also slim which is very good to create a defined lip (which we should achieve when wearing red lipstick). The color is so vibrant and classic and classy. The color is so perfect!!

The formula is not a usual kind lip gloss or lip balm. It is formulated with mix of 3 lipcare oil, vitamin E and something known for reactivating collagen synthesis. The good news is : it is NOT STICKY at all. I'm not a lipgloss/lipbalm kind of girl, that is why I only have 3 lipglosses and 2 lipbalms. I hate sticky formula that usually found in lip gloss. I also hate to use lipbalm under my lipstick since it makes the lipstick are not so longlasting.

With this Rouge Dior Brillant, I could skip my lip balm and avoid any sticky texture while I still get the healthy and perfect lips everyday. The color used in the campaign is believed using in this color. My swatch is different with the poster, because to achieve that looks we should use the Rouge Dior Brillant over Rouge Dior Lipstick. Yes, it is available in same shade, 999.

I am considering to get another shades. There are some other that catching my heart such as Swan, Miss, Bonheur, and Darling.

 - It is in no 10 and too light for my skin tone. I usually wear shade no 20 - 30. The result is not too amazing and I don't like compact foundie, I prefer using liquid foundie since powder foundie won't last long on my skin.

75. Etude House Peach Blush

 - One of my Project Pan items. It is a big achievement to me to finish a blush.. It is the first blush emptied in years. Last time I finished a blush was maybe 3 years ago when I was not a junkie yet.

76. The Body Shop Aqua Lily Edt

 - I used to love this scent but I always change through times and I don't like it anymore. So won't repurchase. This is the last TBS Edt on my collection. 

77. L'oreal Milk Cleanser

 - Very good for drugstore milk cleanser. I don't have any milk cleanser left, so I think I should repurchase soon.

78. Sunsilk Lively Straight Shampoo

 - I don't feel my hair going straight, but it is suitable for normal hair. I think I need something more intense and repairing.

79. Oriflame Feminelle

 - Won't repurchase.

80. Etude House Yoghurt Apricot Mask

 - The last piece from this collection. It is okay. It is light and cooling.

 Anybody tried the same product??
